Each Management 3.0 Training is targeted to one specific group of people: those focused on improving their approach to management. These are the people who recognize that there is not enough employee engagement and team collaboration in their organization. These are the people who won’t just complain, but are looking for proactive solutions to change management processes.
There are people across organizations looking to answer:
- How can we motivate our workers?
- How can we change the organization’s culture?
- How can we change the mindset of managers?
- How can we get teams to take responsibility?
- How can we improve teamwork and team collaboration?
- How can we can managers to trust their teams?
- How can we develop people’s competencies?
- How can we be agile when the organization is not?

In the workshops, we look at theory and tools. Every module is set up according to the Teaching from the back of Room concept.
First attendees connect to the topic, this can be done by an exercise, story telling, or discussion. In the second part of the module the concepts are explained, often just by using flipcharts. When the concepts are explained, there is a simulation or exercise to practice. We end every module with a debrief session.
Oh, and Management 3.0 Workshops are a LOT of fun! Every moment of a Management 3.0 Workshop from exercises to games to discussions to coffee breaks is an opportunity to network with your peers and to learn, laugh and improve your approach to management.
Each workshop is, of course, a little different because each workshop has different attendees. The facilitator will adapt the workshops for attendees, as well as each attendee, drives discussion and story-telling. There is always time for interaction and discussion. It is not the goal to finish the agenda, it is the goal to have a great workshop!
While both workshops address these topics, they do so with different methodologies.
The two-day Management 3.0 workshop splits between theoretical and practical agile management. It was created for software development but has been adopted by all sorts of teams around the world. Day One focuses on how to energize people and empower teams. Day Two dives into aligning constraints and developing competencies. This workshop is based on leadership guru Jurgen Appelo‘s first best-seller, also called Management 3.0.
Ralph van Roosmalen offers the regular Management 3.0 Foundation Workshop as well as the new Agility in HR Workshop by Management 3.0 – the first Management 3.0 facilitator offering this new HR focused workshop in Europe.
